Description:
Inspired by the book of the same title by Ayya Khema (1987), "Being Nobody, Going Nowhere" responses to the concept of afterlife, karma and transmigration. Life after death, whether real or imaginary, is a kind of hope: it motivates people to do good karmas for a better (after)life. The circle of transmigration is rather endless as long as one commits bad karmas while living. Once bad karmas in previous lives are paid off, one then will be liberated from the transmigration cycle and go to heaven.
