This work explores the responsibility of womanhood in traditional Asian belief. She is expected by both of her family and her husband’s to provide unconditional care work, and to be the supportive front for the success of her husband and children, yet to be the blame for their failure or mishaps. A portrayal of their internal struggles though can be easily visualized and materialized, oftentimes taken as a given, this performance is a critique on the demanding patriarchal expectations in women, as well as their compliance with those so-called values.
